OS Genuine Gear Oil is a joint development between OS Giken and an oil manufacturer, leveraging OS Giken's many years of experience in manufacturing racing parts.
　Its formula is designed to more directly control the operating timing of OS Giken's LSDs, resulting in more flexible operation.
　Despite its ultra-high viscosity of 250, it also boasts a low-temperature starting performance of 80W, allowing it to penetrate the gaps between the friction discs in OS Giken's LSDs, which incorporate a large number of discs, providing superior protection.
　It uses PAO (polyalphaolefin) + polyol ester as the base oil and employs newly developed S(sulfur), P(phosphorus), and B(boron)-based additives. Furthermore, it meets API GL-5 standards, and its ultra-high viscosity of 250 provides a reinforced oil film, resulting in high extreme pressure and wear resistance.
　Additionally, it uses an FM agent (Friction Modifier) suitable for mechanical LSDs, reducing LSD noise (chattering) and abnormal vibrations while simultaneously bringing out the LSD's full potential.
